    Hi Tom. I'm glad you like bowling, it's absolutely my favourite thing to do! I average about 200, generally, although I haven't been very well this year. Do you bowl for a YBC? You might like the website www.juniorbowling.co.uk.

    Im not a professional although it would be nice...i still have a full time job.
    My league average is around 215!
    Are you going to the weber cup?

    You need to look at the NAYBC website for the list of tournaments www.naybc.org
    did ok in the competition lost in the semi's but won a ball so cant grumble!

    The only way you can get them to do it is to ask, the closing date for applications is the 28th august.
    Ive got a tournament this sunday at leeds...nothing major tho.
    All my world comps are finished with for now.

    Yeah thats what i mean. Your YBC officials have to write to Bowl tech and put your name forward for the sponsorship.

    If you are still in the juniors there isnt any competitions where you can win money unless you play the competitions for the YACs or Adults. There is a rule in the BTBA that says children competitions have to be paid out using gift vouchers not cash.
    As for sponsorship...Bowltech are doing a sponsorship scheme for junior bowlers. They sponsor 1 male and 1 female junior a year but your YBC have to put your name forward for it.
    What YBC are you with??

    Hi Tom,
    There isnt many sponsorships around for bowlers as most companies dont see it as sport. Alot of the main bowlers get sponsorship from ball companies but as they hit the credit crunch as much as us, they have cut back on alot of sponsorship.
    Most of the people who still have their sponsorship play in European and world events throughout the year and are some of the best bowlers in Europe or in their own continent.
