About Me

About me:

So you want to fly? Look no further as this is the best time to learn and Skyplay are giving free tuition to new students buying their equipment through the school!

The Skyplay Paramotoring School formerly know as The Yorkshire Paramotor Club is run by Richard X and was founded in 2007.

Richard has 23 years experience in aviation the last 7 of which being involved with Paragliding and Paramotoring. He has also been involved in extreme sports for over 25 years which helps with coaching and training techniques as some of the sports cross over.

The School has four training grounds which allow for all wind conditions and directions. New students automatically get 12 months membership for the Yorkshire Paramotor Club which gives them fantastic discounts on the newest and latest equipment.

With the right tuition most students can find themselves airborne for their first solo flight in a matter of a few days.

So if you've ever wondered what it's like to fly then wonder no more and join us on one of our taster days and get an incite of what it's like to pilot your very own Aircraft.

Paramotoring lessons are as follows:

10 Day Full Course £750 (own equipment)
10 Day Full Course £1150 (our equipment)

If you buy your equipment from us we will teach you for FREE! - This offer ends 31/12/2011

Due to the English weather it may not be possible to do 10 straight days training, plus due to your work commitments you may only have the weekends or certain days in which you'd like to do your training, in such a case it could take longer than 10 days and may take a few weeks or even months in which case this is capped at 6 months, after this a days training will be £130 there after.

Your safety is paramount so we have a strict training syllabus that is followed and signed off at each stage of your training.

Equipment: Click on the 'Store' link above and check out our ever growing range of equipment, everything you need from Wings to Radios, from Paramotors to Helmets. New Items are being added on a weekly basis and at great prices. If we haven't got what you're looking for give us a call and we'll do our best to get it for you.

Equipment:

The average price of equipment (Paramotor & Wing) is around £6500

Secondhand equipment is often available for about half this price but extreme caution should be taken when buying secondhand especially from an unknown source.

Call Richard on 07880565198 for more details on courses and Equipment.

Yeah cool. The Alpha 3 is still here - it would make a great training wing for the school. I even flew it a few months ago. Smile

Any weight, there is no lower weight as the lighter you are the smaller the wing and the heavier you are the larger the wing, as long as you can fit into a harness almost anyone can fly.

  7. babybev (17 months ago)

What weight have you got too be to be able to fly????
